Stuart Riddle holds a HNDT (Civil) qualification and has 40years experience in the construction industry, the latter 25 of which as the Managing Director of a private contracting company. He is a registered Professional Construction Manager with extensive experience in both civil and building construction. During this time, he was exposed to many commercial disagreements/disputes which required settlement. This prompted a desire to study further in Alternative Dispute Resolution.

After qualifying as a Fellow of the Association of Arbitrators (Southern Africa) in 2010, he has successfully conducted many arbitrations, adjudications, mediations and amicable settlements which he now conducts on a full-time basis . He also serves on the panel of CAASA (Construction Adjudication Association of South Africa) and is on the Presidents List of SAICE (South African institute of Civils Engineers).           

He has a passion for resolving disputes between parties by way of mediation since the mediation process is not only quicker and more cost effective, but far less stressful on the individuals concerned as well.
