Mediation Centre

Ms Thandwawuyisa Ntshangase

“I hold an LLB degree and am currently pursuing an LLM in Ocean Governance at the same institution. I am a module facilitator within the Faculty of Humanities and an  E-Technologist in the Learning and Teaching (L&T) Collaboration Department at Nelson Mandela University (NMU). My work lies at the intersection of legal education, digital learning, and academic development, where I support innovative and inclusive teaching practices.

I am a qualified mediator. I completed a 65-hour Mediation Programme, including Court-Annexed Mediation through ADR Network South Africa. Additionally, I completed  400 hours  PVT and basic Trial Advocacy through LEAD. My academic and professional interests are grounded in social justice, access to quality education, and the transformative role of law in society.

The law is not only a system of rules, but a powerful instrument for shaping a more just and equitable society.”
